Dogs on the Loop — a new content series
Cruising the Loop with a dog comes with its own playbook — locks, border crossings, summer heat, vet stops, motion sickness. We just shipped a 7-article series that covers it.
Why this exists
Miller is our first mate — a small dog with strong opinions about waves. He's coming on the Loop with us and we kept running into questions: how do you handle locks with a dog on a boat that's bouncing? What about crossing into Canada? What do you do in southern summer heat when shore power's iffy?
We couldn't find one place that pulled it all together. So we wrote one.
The six guides
Each guide is a deep practical dive on one specific topic:
- Potty Solutions — turf pads, walking schedules, marina policies, when you're days from shore
- Border Crossings — what Canada actually asks for, paperwork, rabies certificates, the customs call
- Safety Gear & Heat — life jackets, harnesses, sunshade, hydration, hot-deck protection

- Dogs at Locks — handling the bounce, leash discipline, getting on and off, staying calm
