The line behind your boat used to be the planned route — fine while you followed it, wrong the moment you didn't. Now every day of your trip is drawn from the strongest record of that day's run, stop to stop.
The best evidence wins, day by day
For each travel day, the map now looks for the truest line between the two places you actually stayed: your boat's own tracker first, then your Nebo track, then a route you drew by hand, then the route you were following that day.
Anchored at both ends to your real stops — the line visits every place you visited.
Honest when the record is thin
No track, no drawn line, no route that reaches that day's stop? The map says so: a simple dashed line straight between the two stops, rather than a confident guess.
And while Free cruising is on, the "loop ahead" line stays off your maps entirely — projecting a route you're not following helps no one.
Everywhere your trip shows
The same truthful track now appears on My Trip's map cards, the Trip Timeline, the Trip Map page, and the pages you share with family — all drawn from one record, so they always agree.
