Real Canadian marine forecasts

Briefings on Canadian waters now carry Environment Canada's actual marine forecast for your area — the same winds, waves and warnings the Coast Guard reads — and when no forecast exists for where you are, the briefing says so instead of guessing.

A morning briefing's Good Morning section naming a Strong Wind Warning with specific wind speeds, wave heights, and timing for the day ahead.

Where it applies

Georgian Bay and North Channel marine areas. Outside those areas, if no forecast is available, the briefing tells you plainly instead of inventing calm.
